You’ve probably seen the “pass it on” trend on Snapchat, but now there’s an new way to show your support for those affected by breast cancer this October. (Aside from reading Emma Bley’s informational article on Breast Cancer Awareness Month, of course.)
We have little pink ribbon pins available free for all students! The bag of spare pins is in Mrs. Brandel’s room, 215, in her famous green basket near the SmartBoard. You can take a pin for yourself, or grab an extra for a neighbor, friend, or relative. Though they’re a small gift, they could mean a lot for someone whose life has been affected by breast cancer. You can choose from four several styles of pins, all of which are shown below.
You may also choose to show your support by donating to Susan G. Komen Greater Cincinnati. Emma’s article has more information on different ways to donate– how does running/walking a 5K sound?
