Don’t you remember your 8th grade year? It was the year you had to make the life changing decision that would follow you for the rest of your life. It was time to pick where you were to attend high school for the next 4 years.
Have you ever thought about what actually helped made the decision so easy for you? Well what made my high school decision so easy was going to all of the schools open house’s and seeing what they had to offer me.
The friendly inviting atmosphere is what made Mercy’s stand out to me. I also loved having a personal one on one tour with an actual Mercy student! I was excited to hear all of her experiences and what tips she had to survive freshman year.
Well Mercy it’s that time a year again!!! It’s Open House time, that means it’s time to be the girl that the little 6th, 7th, 8th grade girls look up to! Whether you are a fabulous tour guide or you are at a club/activity booth in the gym. Even if you are the poor freshmen stuck outside in the cold telling the girls and the families where to park. It doesn’t matter what you are do these girls are looking up to you and it’s your job to set the Mercy girl example.
This year Open House is on November 2nd from 1-4pm. The girls and their families will have the opportunity to:
- Meet Mercy’s new principal, Mrs. Karen White.
- Receive personalized tours of our beautiful campus.
- Visit academic departments/speak with teachers.
- Explore athletic and extracurricular programs.
- Gather info on Mercy’s challenging college prep curriculum and technology resources.
- Receive a free Mercy t-shirt!
This year’s Open House will be the most memorable one to date because it is our Centennial year! So come on Mercy it’s time for us to help girls “join the legacy” and continue “Inspiring individual excellence” for the next 100 years!
