Mini Medical College Comes to an End

Several students from Mercy attended the Mini Medical College at UC this year. There were four classes from 6:00-8:00 the past four Wednesdays. Going to the class and writing about your experience was a chance for many students to earn up to 100 SEA points.
Those who attended learned about 8 different topics, 2 per night. These topics included stroke, clinical research, orthopedics, PTSD, pediatric oncology, epilepsy, diabetes, and spine surgery.IMG_0110
It was a very informative class. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in going into a medical field. Even if you’re not, there’s still a lot of great information that is useful to everyone.
Sadly, tonight was the last class. However, everyone was excited to receive their new T-shirts and are waiting for their certificates to arrive in the mail.
