Open House wrap up

By Lindsay Eichhold

Mercy’s Open House was this past Sunday, and it was a huge success! As many as 223 girls from grades raging from 6th through 8th came to visit our school. Most of us remember how stressful it was to choose a high school, so making sure that open house was a good experience for these girls was vital so that they choose to come to Mercy in a few years.

Girls from every grade at Mercy worked in every department or job at open house. There were even past previous graduates from Mercy that came back to give tours of the school!

There was a lot done throughout the school to help prepare it for the big day. Various walls were repainted and posters were hung across walls. The posters that were hung up around the school showcased different girls around Mercy and what Mercy is all about. Mercy’s centennial banners were also hung up around the school to let all the visitors know that we are soon entering our 100th year of being a school.
