We all know that feeling of a sport season ending, band ending, or a musical or play ending. During the season, there are probably many times when I find yourself thinking “I wish this was over” then when it’s actually over, I don’t know what to do with myself. For sports, you either have practice right after school or you have a game and have to stay at Mercy all night or wherever your game is. For musicals and plays, you have rehearsal every day after school sometimes even going to 10 p.m. For band, you have to attend all the practices and have to attend every home football game and make it perfect. At the time, you are so tired and just want it to be over. Now that it’s over, I have no idea what to do with myself. Now I come home after school and it feels so weird. The “Post Season Depression” is actually a thing. I come home and go to sleep because I don’t know what to do with myself. For the seniors, it is the worst. It is their last high school season ever. If you find yourself sleeping more, eating more, feeling lost, or crying then you probably have post season depression.
