In life, there are several annoying things that we cannot escape. One of these things is hiccups. As I type this blog post, I am currently suffering from this annoyance. Every time the dreaded thing happens, it is a mystery as to how to cure them.
Some myths include:
–Picture a rainbow-colored squirrel running up a tree backwards
–Hold your breath and say a Hail Mary
–List off everything you ate for lunch the day before while staring into someone else’s eyes
–Take a large drink of water
–Have someone scare you
–Eat a spoonful of peanut butter
Personally, none of these tricks have worked so far, and I am still suffering from hiccups. If anyone has effective solutions for this annoyance, please comment below. Thank you for your consideration.
