Ann Marie Nuckols ’18
Last Thursday, Mercy bowling team celebrated their seniors Tori Brackett and Mary Bowman.
Since their senior night was on a Thursday, we had a theme of Throwback Thursday. With old button up uniforms and Polaroid pictures Mercy was transported back into the 80’s in style.
In the morning, we surprised them with drinks, doughnuts, chips, and three balloons, letting everyone know that it was their senior night.
Mercy ,overall, has 11 wins and 4 losses in the league and 17 wins and 6 losses. We came in 2nd behind McAuley.
Mary has excelled tremendously since her freshman year. Mary’s average freshman year was 140, now her average is 195.7 pins.
She has hit a high of 244 and a series high of 447. Mary has completed 37 games this season. With over 7,240 total pinfall, Mary has proved that she has what it takes to be our co-captain.
Tori Brackett has played in 37 games for a total of 6873 pins knocked down by her purple ball.
Tori also has greatly improved from her average freshman year of 106, to her current average of 185.8.
She has a game high of 257 and a series high of 420. Tori has what it takes to be our other co-captain.
Mary and Tori complement each other beautifully, they both work hard and they are always there for the team. Good luck at U.C. and MSJ. We will miss you!
