Spring into Spring Break

There is no better feeling than walking out of school and into the sunshine.  The warm rays never fail to instantly change my mood from ‘I hate everyone’ to ‘HUG ME BROTHA’ (Josh Peck) within a matter of seconds.  I don’t know what it is, but when the sun finally reveals itself after a long, gloomy winter, I can’t help but smile!  Sun and warmth bring me closer to summer and who wouldn’t smile with that in mind?  The first springtime revelation of the sun is always the best.  When the thermometer hits 60 degrees, it’s like the world is good again.

So many things happen in spring; spring break, flowers, prom, warm weather, you get tan-ish, green grass.  The best of those things is spring break.  Spring break is the first time of the year where you get an actual break from school.  It’s like a glimpse of summer.  You don’t have to have a care in the world; you go to bed at 4 AM and wake up at 1 PM, you eat as much as you want (if you didn’t already do that), you can drive wherever you want without having to fulfill any obligations.  Spring break is freedom.

If you don’t have plans for over spring break, that is totally OK.  It doesn’t necessarily have to be a time for epicness.  Keeping it chill everyday with Netflix and your pillow is definitely a good way to do it.  However, if you’re like me, and you eventually get bored of that, try something new or go somewhere.  It may not seem like it, but Cincinnati actually has some pretty neat things to do.  Go explore a new part of town!  Try some new restaurants!  Springtime is the perfect time to try new things!
