Father Daughter Dance

Kelly Wilzbach ’16

Father daughter dance is a favorite dance by many of the Mercy girls.  No need for finding a date because your date is given to you.  This dance is all about having a fun time spent with your dad.  You get to dance the night away with the only guy you will ever need.

Each grade gets a dance with their fathers.  In homeroom everyone makes their vote and the winning song gets played.  The freshman class hasn’t picked yet, the sophomore class got “Don’t Blink”  by Rascal Flats, the junior class got “Tiny Dancer” by Elton John, and the senior class got “I  loved her first” by Heartland.

Father daughter take place on November 6, at the Woodland.  It’s coming up fast and everyone is getting ready for it.  Girls are talking about what they are wearing, where they are going to eat, and the excitement is building.  Mercy girls can’t wait to get all dressed up and spend the night having fun and dancing with their dads.
