One Direction’s new album, Made in the A.M., came out last Friday. The first thing I did when I got up that morning was grab my phone and listen to the album on shuffle.
The very first song that came on was “End of the Day”. It basically says that you may mess up and you may say stupid things, but, at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter.
My personal favorite from the album was “Temporary Fix”. It has a great beat and every time I hear it, I just want to get up and dance.
This album had a heck of a lot of slow songs on it. Most of 1D’s albums have maybe two or three slow songs, and the rest are more upbeat and fun to song and dance to. I’m not complaining about this, though, because they were all really sweet.
“I Want to Write You a Song” was probably my favorite slow song on the album. It’s a happier slow song. It literally makes me want a Harry Styles in my life. But then again, who doesn’t want a Harry Styles in their life?
“Perfect”, “Infinity”, and “Drag Me Down” are each amazing too. They were released before the rest of the album, so I have been able to enjoy them for a few weeks now. They are my shower jams, my homework jams, my home alone jams, my everything jams. I’ve listened to them out loud so many times, I think half my family has probably unwillingly memorized them. You’re welcome, mom.
I definitely recommend this album to anyone who has ever enjoyed any One Direction song ever. Now that this album has come out, I can honestly say that my life is complete.
