This is a major PSA for EVERYONE: Pixar is extending our childhood by coming out with our favorite childhood movies. There is Finding Dory, Cars 3, Toy Story 4, and The Incredibles 2. The Finding Dory trailer came out, and is the most talked about and retweeted trailer on Twitter. Finding Dory comes out on June 17, 2016. Cars 3 comes out June 16, 2017, Toy Story 4 comes out June 15, 2018, and The Incredibles 2 comes out June 21, 2019.
Finding Dory is the squeal to the movie Finding Nemo. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, you need to see it. (You can find the link to the trailer at the bottom of the page).
Cars 3, a sequel to a series of the adventures of Lightning McQueen and the other cars from Radiator Springs. The first Cars movie came out in 2006, Cars 2 came out in 2011, and now Cars 3 will be released in 2017.
Toy Story 4 has to be about Bonnie growing up, playing with Andy’s old toys as her own. The first Toy Story came out in 1995, Toy Story 2 came out in 1999, Toy Story 3 came out in 2010, and Toy Story 4 will be coming out in 2018.
The Indredibles 2 (I’m guessing) will be an action packed animated movie with more villains to be fought and more superheroes being discovered. The first Incredibles movie came out in 2004, and the sequel will be released in 2019.
If you’ve never seen any of these movies, I would recommend watching them before all of the extension movies come out. So, thank you Pixar for extending everyone’s childhood into there 20’s, it is greatly appreciated!
Picture your future 20 something self-sitting in a movie theater packed with little kids, and you’re the most excited one to watch the movie, and possibly crying at the end because the movie is over. Then, walking out of the theater, crying, whispering to yourself “it was just so good.” Yep, I can totally see it happening.
