The nest of butterflies that build in your stomach, the strange sense of calm that washes over you, the muffled roar of your teammates, the cool water that isn’t even noticeable; these are all the reasons why swimmers swim. The 2015-2
016 season is off with a bang. This Saturday Oak Hills hosted Mercy and LaSalle. Mercy beat both teams. Go Bobcats!
This was the first meet of the season. This meet was immediately followed by St. Ursula vs. Mercy. The score was Ursula 136, Mercy 128.
On Saturday we all hiked it out to Mason. This was the first big invitational of the season. Swimmer of the meet went to our very own, Amanda Scola. She broke a record in the 200 Freestyle!
We have high hopes for this season. All the girls are wonderful and I’m very blessed to have the opportunity to be apart of the team.
