Due to a recent donation to my CAD (Coupon Addiction Fund), I recieved a total of 6 “25% OFF” coupons to Kohl’s. So guess what I did this past Sunday? Hint: it wasn’t watch football.
Last Christmas, Santa (AKA: Grandma) gave me money to buy whatever I wanted from any store. Naturally, I chose Kohl’s because that place has everything. I found a super-cute, tiny purse with a thin strap made for maximum lightness, simplicity, and sleekness. I quickly found out that the older I get, the more items I accumulate. By December of this year, I realized that I needed an upgrade to a bigger purse to hold all of the stuff I don’t need. Using my coupons to buy a heap of shirts, earrings, two wallets, and a purse, I was quite productive and very happy with the outcome of my shopping experience. So without further ado, here’s my brand new purse and what I stuffed it with.
Gosling’s Original ChopSaver Lip Care, $3.99 at CVS Ah, yes. My fave lip balm. With a citrus scent and thick formula, this coats your lips with an organic chapstick with an added SPF of 15. Created by a trumpet musician who was fed up with sore lips from playing an instrument all day, this is a marching band member’s go-to.
Old Spice Deodorant Twin Pack Pure Sport, $4.99 at Walgreens In case you didn’t know, men’s deodorant smells heavenly. I’m really not sure how I got onto this stuff, but I love it. The deodorant itself smells totally awesome and has a blue, gell-like formula so it goes on cool and clear. Yay to no white lines!
Relic Berkley Quilted Checkbook Wallet, $21.60 at Kohl’s This wallet was in my favorite color, so naturally I had to get it. It comes with 10 spaces for gift/credit cards, a zip pocket for change, and so many other little compartments to stick all of your other miscellaneous junk.
Apple EarPods with Remote and Mic, $29.00 at Apple.com I lose these things like earring backings, but I wouldn’t trade them for the world. As a gummy-earbud fanatic, I’ve completely switched over to these Apple ones. The sound has an incredibly clear quality to it, and the microphone/pause/skip/volume attachment comes in handy so much it’s insane.
CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Waterproof Mascara, $6.99 at Target I’m not sure that words can express how much I love this mascara; it’s my lifeline. The smooth formula lasts for months and it makes my lashes look like a 10. It’s definitely my all-time favorite.
Conair Styling Essentials Bobby Pins Blonde, 2/$2 at Walgreens From picking locks to creating an updo, you never know when you’ll need a bobby pin. Due to my extremely blonde hair, these are just what I need to pin everything in place, not including my life (sadly).
Band-Aid Flexible Fabric Tissue Bandage, $0.99 at Target The flexible fabric Band-Aids are the most durable by far, in my opinion. I’m also always getting cuts on my fingers, tripping over nothing and scraping my knee, or smacking myself in the head with my rifle. These babies come in handy when you least expect them to, trust me. #gohard #orgohome
