With a lot of excess time on my hands due to the colder weather and #cabinfever, I’ve resorted to re-watching one of my favorite shows on Netflix: The Office. The show made it’s debut in 2005 and it’s reign has lasted 9 seasons. Netflix describes The Office as “[a] hit comedy series [that] chronicles the daily foibles of office workers at the Dunder Mifflin paper company, where deluded boss Michael Scott attempts to shepherd his employees as a documentary film crew captures every wince-worthy moment.”
The show portrays a very dim-witted Michael Scott who is the regional manager of the Dunder-Mifflin Paper Company in Scranton, PA. His co-workers include Pam , Jim, Stanley, Kevin, Angela, Phyllis, Meredith, Creed, Oscar, Ryan, Kelly, Andy, Toby, Darryl, Erin, and my personal favorite, Dwight Schrute. I am very proud to say that I’m completely, utterly, insanely in love with this show, and I honestly don’t see any of this stopping in the near future. My name is Elizabeth Meyer, and The Office has taken over my life. Am I bitter? No. Would I want to have it any other way? Also, no. Are my parents confused and possibly worried about my well-being? Well, yeah.
