How to make Home made Buffalo Chicken Dip

Looking for a quick and easy party snack to make? Here is an easy recipe for buffalo chicken dip. The ingredients include:

  • -2 large cans chicken
  • -2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • -1/2 cup – 1 cup Frank’s Buffalo Hot Sauce
  • -1 cup sour cream
  • -1 cup cream cheese, softened


Now that you have the ingredients here are the steps:

Step 1: Dump all of your ingredients in a large bowl. But make sure you leave some of the cheese out to add to the top of the dip when it is finished.

Step 2: Stir all of the ingredients together in the bowl.

Step 3: Put the mixture into a greased casserole dish (or even a small pan) and then add the rest of the cheese.

Step 4: Bake it until it is bubbly and you see browning on the side.

Step 5: Serve with chips or crackers and enjoy.



Although these steps were considerably easy, there were a few things that were not. In the directions I was not given a time to preheat the oven (375) which was hard because every oven is different so I had to guess.


The next thing was that I was not given a time to bake (about 10-14 minutes) it so I had to stand over the oven the entire to make sure it did not burn.


The last problem I had with it was the hot sauce. I don’t do well with spicy things so a whole bottle was a little much. For people who have this same problem I would recommend half a bottle or else your mouth will be on fire.


Other than these minor complications the recipe was great and so was the result.
