Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

As you may or may to know, Mother’s Day is coming up very soon on May the 8th. It always stresses me out trying to think of a gift for my mom that she would actually like and that won’t blow my life savings. Over the years, these are a few things that I got for my mom that were fairly inexpensive but very much appreciated.

The first is cupcakes! My mom does not get her favorite kind of cake very often because the rest of my family doesn’t like it. It isn’t very hard to pick up a few things to make your mom cupcakes. It is easy and only takes a few hours which makes it perfect for busy schedules. As a bonus, your mom may share with you so you definitely can’t go wrong with making some simple cupcakes.

Another easy and inexpensive gift for your mom would be flowers! If you read the email, Mercy is selling flowers from the 26th to the 29th so you don’t even have to make a special trip. Flowers range from small $5 pots to larger $22 baskets. Almost any mother would appreciate some bright colorful flowers on the day that is dedicated to her.

My personal favorite thing to get for my mom is a shower smoothie or other shower products from LUSH. I find that the Dreamwash shower smoothie is perfect size and just under $25 which makes it a little on the expensive side but it is worth it in the end. LUSH also offers baskets prepared specifically for Mother’s day that are filled with a variety of bath bombs and shower creams. Baskets range in price from $20 to $50 which is a reasonable price for the myriad of goodies inside.

Regardless of whether you decide spend money or not, a simple hug and a card will go a long way.
